Bedroom Furniture

Bespoke bedroom furniture and fitted wardrobes can completely change the way a room feels, turning an everyday space into something calm, organised and genuinely enjoyable to spend time in. At RH Carpentry, bedroom projects are approached with the same care and attention that goes into every part of our work. We design and build furniture that fits your home exactly, rather than forcing standard sizes into spaces that were never meant to hold them. The result is a bedroom that not only looks beautifully finished but also works far better for your day to day life.

Many homeowners come to us because they want to make proper use of their space. Off the shelf furniture rarely fits perfectly, especially in homes with alcoves, chimney breasts or sloped ceilings. Our bespoke wardrobes are built to match the exact measurements of your room, which means no wasted gaps, no awkward corners and no areas that gather dust. Every inch can be used for storage, helping you organise clothing, shoes and personal items in a way that feels tidy and effortless. Whether you prefer simple hanging space, pull out drawers, internal lighting or a combination of features, we design everything with your needs at the centre.

A fitted bedroom is more than practical storage, it also shapes the style and atmosphere of the room. Some clients prefer a clean, modern finish with smooth painted doors and discreet handles. Others want a warmer look with shaker style doors or natural wood accents. We take the time to understand the style you want to achieve, then produce furniture that complements the existing décor and enhances the room rather than overpowering it. Every piece we create is made with care, from the framework to the final coat of paint, giving you a finish that feels polished and long lasting.

RH Carpentry also builds bespoke bedside units, dressing tables and fitted shelving to match your new wardrobes. These additions help tie the whole room together, giving a sense of balance and continuity. Because everything is made to measure, we can work around radiators, windows, unusual wall shapes and any other challenges that appear in real homes. Our goal is always the same, to make the furniture look as though it has always belonged there.

Customers across Bishops Stortford, Stansted, Dunmow, Takeley, Elsenham, Ware, Hertford, Hoddesdon, Broxbourne, Cheshunt, Cuffley and Brookmans Park choose RH Carpentry because they want craftsmanship they can rely on. We take pride in clear communication, straightforward planning and turning up when we say we will. Creating made to measure furniture is a process that deserves patience and accuracy, and we bring both to every project. From the first design ideas to the moment the last door is fitted, we work neatly and respectfully in your home, keeping you updated so you always know what to expect.

A bespoke bedroom is an investment that benefits you every day. With the right layout, plenty of storage and a finish that matches your personal style, your bedroom becomes a space that feels calm, organised and welcoming. RH Carpentry takes that vision and turns it into something solid and beautifully crafted, built to last and designed just for you.
